Bernhard Bachmann is the founder of Bachmann Analytics, Governance & Training GmbH, which was originally launched unter the name of Change Champions GmbH in 2004.  He gained experience in more than 200 change management projects.

Earlier appointments in his career were:

• Communications Manager, Deutsche Bank, Corporate Headquarter
• Project Leader in two marketing service agencies
• Press Relations manager, Parliament of Hesse, Wiesbaden

Joining Deutsche Bank in 1997, Bernhard has lead many change management and task force initiatives, working for the Private Banking division as well as for the global headquarter of Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt. Many of these initiatives circled around mergers and acquisitions (e.g. with Bankers Trust), divestments, re-organisations, outsourcing and re-engineering projects.

Bernhard lived for one year in West Virginia, USA, and for one year in Glasgow, Scotland. He is holding an M.A. with full majors in political science, history and philosophy and a minor in communications science. He has conducted postgraduate studies and research in  IT Economics, and holds an MBA from Ashridge Business School. From 2010 to 2015, he was carrying out research on the correlation of leadership and efficiencies in highly operational environments. The study received two prizes for research excellence and was awarded a doctorate in  business administration. Having studied at the universities of Mainz, Glasgow, Cologne, Ashridge, Harvard, Stanford and Edinburgh, Bernhard is known to be a keen promotor of life-long learning. His latest study on good governance and leadership in highly operational environments was published by Springer Science and can be found here.

He is a certified and trained coach, trainer and consultant. He holds several coaching certificates in consulting and coaching and received additional education in quality and production management, theory of constraints, and organisational consulting. Bernhard is member of the German Quality Foundation (DGQ), Academie Kloster Eberbach and the alumni associations of Ashridge, Stanford and Harvard. Bernhard is Catholic, likes to sail and lives with his wife and daughter in Eltville, near Frankfurt.
